Engineering Design Studio

This project-based course engages students by introducing the engineering design process through the use of today’s design and fabrication technologies. This course fosters creativity, innovation, problem-solving, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills through the application of the engineering design process. Students rely on emerging technologies, that may include 3D printers, laser engravers, shopbots, and vinyl cutters to create solutions to engineering based tasks. This foundational course will prepare students for further studies in engineering, technology, and computer science courses in District 203 and beyond. Course fee.
