Are you aware you are faced with marketing every day? Find out about this exciting career field utilizing themes of Sports & Entertainment (NCHS) or Food Marketing (NNHS). You will learn about the marketing concepts of selling, research, new product development, pricing, advertising and sales promotion. This project-based course will give you hands-on experience as you research, create, price, and promote your own product/service concept. Learn from speakers who are currently working in this constantly growing field. This class MAY include an optional trip, paid by the individual, to observe marketing techniques at Disney World and/or Universal Studios in Florida. This class can also help prepare interested students for DECA competitions, an optional extra-curricular club activity.
